Review by Justin Tallant

The album Michael by Highwaymen, Ferlin Husky, is a classic country music gem that showcases the talents of one of the genre's most beloved artists. Released in 1986, this album features a collection of songs that are both heartfelt and catchy, with Husky's distinctive voice providing the perfect accompaniment to the band's twangy guitars and driving rhythms.

From the opening track "Michael" to the closing ballad "Wings of a Dove," this album is a testament to the enduring power of country music. Husky's vocals are particularly impressive, conveying both the joy and pain of love and loss with equal conviction. The Highwaymen's musicianship is also top-notch, with each member contributing their own unique style to the mix.
